The Road2Hope Marathon Race Course is sponsored by GU. Refreshing Gu energy GELS will be given out at the 28Km mark on the course.
Marathon Map
The course for the 2010 Road2Hope Hamilton Marathon is finalized, complete with a breathtaking finish at Confederation Park. The Full Marathon course can be viewed by clicking here. This course will be a Boston Qualifier. See "Race Information" below for the details for the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon. Both the Half & Full Marathon course will start at Saltfleet Secondary, 108 Highland Rd. W., Stoney Creek, which will provide a larger staging area, plus the start line will be immediately outside of the school.

Race Information
The 5K and 10K race courses are both in Confederation Park (free entry to the park for all registered runners and spectators). The 5K route is a single loop along the waterfront trail, and the service road, and the 10K route is a double loop of the same course. The route is flat & fast!
The Half Marathon start has the same start location as the marathon (Saltfleet High School - see map) All runners will be bused to the start from Confederation Park. There is parking at Gatestone School should you wish to go directly there, but there will NOT be any transportation back to the school. The Half Marathon route will go west on Highland to Pritchard Rd (approximately 3.5k) and it then follows the Marathon route. Along Beach Blvd the Half Marathon cuts over to the waterfront trail about 1km shorter than the marathon route, then finishes at the same spot in Confederation Park.
Shuttle and Parking
Runners will be able to park at Confederation Park's ample parking and be taken to their respective starts by shuttle, allowing runners access to their vehicles upon completion of the race. Last shuttle to full and half marathon starting line will depart a half hour prior to race start. There will also be a free bag check provided.
